After earning his Masters degree from the Peabody Conservatory, Nathan started his private studio where he has been teaching students of all ages and abilities. For over 15 years he has offered lessons for piano, low brass, bass, drums, guitar and ukulele, with lessons tailored to fit each students’ needs. Aside from teaching lessons, he has also worked as a band director, chamber ensemble coach and arranger. Being an active musician for even longer, he has played in various bands and ensembles, ranging from orchestras and jazz combo groups to cover bands and original projects, some of which have opened for national acts. He has been a featured soloist on multiple occasions and has performed for events such as Baltimores Artscape, D.C. Cherry Blossom Festival, 98 Rocks Noise in the Basement, WTMDs First Thursday Concert Series along with other radio programs, festivals, conventions and has even performed the National Anthem at Camden Yards on multiple occasions
